[Insert opening crawl]
Episode VII
THE SHADOW MENACE
Having been drawn to the Dark Side, Daan Banaan left his home planet of Worst Case. Leaving behind his former allies to turn to sworn enemies, a sparkle of light once again entered his clouded mind.
Will Daan return once more to his planet of Worst Case to redeem himself? Will Wim Solo be able to forgive him? Will Alejandro the Hutt be finally defeated? Will Princess Mathieu accept Daan, even after his betrayal?
The fate of the galaxy hangs on a thin wire.
The Shadow Menace shall commence.
[pan out]
Allereerst mijn meest recente trip. Necromunda, gemengd met mijn ervaringen in het spel S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Necromunda
Oude scenery opnieuw opgebouwd.
Filler.
The Underhive. Not a happy place to begin with. And to get stuck in a place like Highlow, well... if you look at it positively... it can't get much worse I suppose. Most people wouldn't want to be caught dead here, let alone alive. Thank the Emperor for the steady flow of booze.
Some words of warning for you. I've lived in this place for a while now, so I can give you some advice. I guess my first advice would be to get the hell out, but I guess that's not a possibility for you, eh?
This isn't a place you want to walk through alone. Don't think for a second the Precinct 072 Enforcers are on your side. Their idea of keeping the peace is smashing the face of anyone wandering around into the dirt, so unless you have a job, don't get into their line of sight. But don't tell them I said that. They recently got a new sergeant to call the shots. I am not expecting him to do any better than his predecessor.
Some people say the Mushroom Forest here is a sight to see, but sightseeing won't do you much good. If the mutants that stalk through those stalks don't get you, one of the gangs will probably strip you clean and leave you to die.
And gangs are something we have plenty of. Too much if you ask me. The Vampyres control the mines up in the north-west. No, they're not really vampires, but they think they are bad ass. Actually, given their track record, I guess they are. You wouldn't want to get on their bad side. You wouldn't want to get on their good side either, unless you enjoy slavering for precious metals in a dried up mine.
Up in the north-east a group of mercs have closed off the way to Precinct 226. Thanks to them the prices for pretty much everything went up through the roof. I wouldn't mind if some plague befell them.
Apparently those prayers are heard. Some freak accident several months ago in the power plant down south-east has turned pretty much half the precinct into a Rad Zone, and Plague Zombies are found wandering empty factory halls and what not. Still, apparently that doesn't stop some people from going into “The Zone”, as they call it nowadays. The explosion supposedly opened up a way into some unknown dome filled with archeotech. Not only that, the radiation surge created some wondrous anomalous items as well, found in the Zone. At least that's what they say. But that's not all.
Talk of the town is there's a peaceful group of Ratskins were caught by the fallout. The radiation mutated them, and now this Ratskin Cult is skulking around spreading disease wherever they go. Now, I am no fan of those Ratskin weirdos to begin with, but apparently this particular cult has become so mutated and violent, this group isn't even accepted in their own society no more. As long as they don't touch my booze, it's all good with me. Nothing but trouble going that way, that's for sure.
Good thing we have the guiding light of the Church of Phlegon shining down on us amidst all this misery. Yes, I was being sarcastic. Guiding light...more like flaming balls of hellfire raining down on us. They would do well if they went up and cleaned the mess surrounding our town. Instead they are making it worse. If the Enforcers don't smash your face in, leave it up to those bloody Redemptionists to burn your face to a crisp.
And just when you thought you had it all, our lovely neighbours of Precinct 075 send their finest export product as well. Apparently some gang wandered from Precinct 075 to settle here. Don't ask me about them, I wouldn't know. All I know is it's just more trouble.
But don't take my word for it. I am just a lowly drunken weapons trader in the lovely town of Highlow. Need anything by any chance? I'll give you a knife for free with your purchase.
Warhammer
Huisje is af inmiddels.
Ruggetje.
Goeie film?
